My husband Duane and I have been married since 1973. We have raised 3 sons who are now adults who have blessed us with nine grandchildren.
Making a difference in our community is the driving force in our family’s life. Out of gratitude to God for the blessings we have received, we want to share with others.
I helped develop an emergency food bank at our church in the 1970s, served on parent groups and booster clubs during our children’s school years and served in various roles at our church.
More recently I have served as Macomb County Commissioner for 14 years from 2002-2016 and as Chesterfield Township Trustee since 2016. I take my fiduciary responsibility seriously-- establishing transparent policies and procedures for the taxpayers of our community.
